While working at the Met had given Parker a wealth of new and interesting experiences, today she felt out of her element. Robotics, artificial intelligence and tech-speak were not her area of expertise. The only saving grace was that the sights and information on offer had been made accessible for Joe Public and so she didn't feel completely lost. Even if a portion of the museum now resembled a sci-fi flick's dream prop department.

Still, there were several reasons to be present. Even if the most mundane of things easily sparked Parker's curiosity and so the feats of technology being showcased were definitely a source of intrigue. She figured it also served her well to put in face time even when she wasn't scheduled to be there. Self-serving, maybe, but she had striven to create a good impression. She wanted to be there, to progress, to do well. Her attitude towards her fledging career came as a surprise even to her.

Lastly, there were bound to be some excellent sources of inspiration for events she could weave into the Education Department. She could imagine kids going crazy over robots and the like, and finding something that would not only educate but excite them was vital. She loved to create resources, games, activities, anything that would engage them. Fortunately, her young at heart nature seemed to serve her well and she found she was good at establishing a rapport with the younger visitors.

Armed with a Peeps themed notepad, she was somewhat out of place amongst others with iPads and the like. She wasn't adverse to technology; it was a simple matter of cost. A slight bit of preference, also. She found the old school pen and paper let her scribble her thoughts and ideas down in whatever form made sense to her. Later, she could physically arrange the notes, move them around and make something cohesive.

"Maybe Transformers could work..." she murmured to herself, lost in her thoughts for a moment.
